anyone have problems with these? i have a 97 and plan on just a plate (10). want to upgrade the clutch but im not going to bomb this one. i dont tow heavy but might pick up a light travel trailer. im thinking about just going with another stocker but if the cheap SBC clutch is that much better than stock ill do it.

save the get what you pay for and do it once speach. been there, done that, costs too much, wife hates it:-laf reliability is the key here.

thanks and its good to be back in the properly valved sectionOo.

B,

I have the small hub Con-O in my truck. It holds great, never had it slip, but I did have the hub come apart. As R. ebel linked SBC will not warranty this situation. I would STRONGLY suggest the bigger clutch if you tow at all or if you are above stock power levels. When I bought mine my truck was stock and money was tight so I went with the smaller clutch. Next time I'll upgrade to the bigger clutch and never look back.

Ben, I have a Con OFE that has the center section busted out, I think that it can be repaired. It's yours if you want it.
