Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) SBC Clutch

I had a SBC Rally clutch put in 15,000 miles ago. Most of the time it is smooth except if I launch on a hill or if I'm trying to race. I don't know if it is me letting the clutch out to slow in those situations. But it makes a squacking sound or sounds like a Canadian Goose honking. It doesn't seem to slip there's also a vibration with the sound. I moved the torque plate back about halfway forward and it still does it. Before I bought the clutch I was asured the Rally would handle my mild upgrades . Any Ideas?
