SBC Con FE Bolts

Just got my 13-1. 25 Con FE in the mail today and going by the pics on the SBC page, was I supposed to get some bolts with it? I searched through all the packing materials and found none. If I am supposed to get bolts with it, who would be more appropriate to call, the vendor or SBC. Thanks.

I would start with who ever you bought it from if you did not buy it directly from South Bend. You may have been shipped the wrong pak. With your '97 and a 13. 5" clutch, you should have received a new flywheel and a 1" spacer for your starter.



If you get the "That is something you have to order seperately" coment, then I sould call SB to confirm.

The bolts for the pressure plate should be screwed into the flywheel.

I did'nt get any bolts for mine either, I could not reuse the old pressure plate bolts because they had a shoulder on them, while the new flywheel did not have countersunk holes. I went to the hardware store and bought grade 8 bolts to use.

I was being sarcastic MCummings. I did'nt recieve the bolts with my kit so I had to find my own. The bailing wire is holding up well!!! Ha just kiddin.

Okay, talked to the vendor. Getting the bolts sent out and should be here soon. No mention of a spacer being noted though. Thanks for the replies.

Glad Peter is getting you taken care of. My clutch didn't come with a spacer, and I didn't need one. (Atleast I don't think so,,, Truck still starts. :-laf )
