I finally got some time to work on the tow rig. I was supposed to get it done last Saturday but had to fly back to Ohio for a family emergency all is good there now. Flew in late Tuesday night so I got to do it all on Independence day :(

First off, how many folks can say that there wife helped them put in new clutch :)

Everything went smooth other then me not knowing how to remove the dual mass flywheel. I was stumped and had to reach out to a couple TDR members who set me straight (Props to Brad Ponci, and Robert P) I would have never found those 8 bolts on the engine side its not like I ever did an auto before :) everything that was in the bell housing is in the trash and now sits a SBC Dual disc sprung hub, with upgraded hydraulics as well.

We also got the Silverline stainless steel turbo back dual exhaust in and a AFE proguard 7 intake.

Took us, the wife and I, 10 hours at a slow pace including getting stumped for an hour.

The truck sounds way better, I think I saw somebody else had posted about after the clutch install it all seemed more solid, no sponginess as in the dual-mass flywheel that is a good definition.

I knew you had a great pit crew, but also helping out with a clutch install! My wife might pit for me, but a clutch install too, NO WAY! congrats! I am not sure how you brought it up to her, but I think I should take some pointers.

What kind of power is in store for the tow rig, I know your not going to stop now. How about the mule, maybe some stacks??

Later, skybox
