I read on the Northwest Bombers site that you should rescan your PCM after a TPS adjustment. Having not read this before in all the posts about TPS adjustments, just wondering if anyone can explain this process, what is needed (tools Etc. ) Is it needed for all Cummins PCM's or any information in general on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks

I see no advantage or reason to scan(?) after adjusting tps. I am fortunate enough to have a scanner to read the tps voltage on,so I dont have to mess with connecting up a volt meter. The pcm will see the voltage weather or not you scan it. If there is a code that had been set that is a different situation. A code set in memory still will not affect the vehicle operation once the fault has been repaired.
