My 2008 Jeep Patriot has no less then six warning lights lit up. I spent some time in the service manual, and there are a number of sensors for the antilock brake system, traction control system, hill start, blah, blah, blah. These all contribute to a control module, and explains why I have so m a nylon warning lights - all these interact.
In the service manual there is page after page of codes. Thus, I was thinking of getting an OBDII scan tool. I did some reading, and have tentatively chosen an Innova 3100j. It claims to read codes from the drive-train, ABS, and SRS systems. Reviews were favorable.
I don't want to spend lots of money - under $150.
Thanks!!
