Anyone have experience with a DPS Turbo

Title says it all. Anyone know of a scan tool that can do these on a 5.9? I've called around to dealerships in my area and even a performance shop. Most dealership techs didn't even know what I was talking about, the performance shop said they don't even perform those tests, and one dealer even put their cummins tech on the phone and he made it sound like I was talking about running a kill and contribution test on a 12 valve. He told me that my engine was so old, he wasn't sure his software could communicate with the ecu and he could "give it a shot for $300" lol

Even now, most shops out there jsut want to replace the pump and all the injectors rather than figure out whats wrong.
Some things never change.

Certainly some dealers can do it but you'll have to find one that actually has a Cummins tech. Most dont seem to and wont admit it. They just send the truck out to a local shop.

Ya, that's what a couple of dealerships basically told me. They'd have to pull the injectors and send them off to get tested.

I ended up contacting alfaobd support an they confirmed that the software can run those tests for my truck, so I think I'm going that way. Thanks guys

Perfect, ALFA is the way to go.
Have fun, be careful.
