Competition Scared a MACH 1 all the way to 130!

I was cruzin I-35n from SA to Austin when I came upon a new Mustang Mach 1 going slow in the left lane (i cant stand that). When he saw my bumper about to climb thru his back winder , then voom he takes off , only to his surprise (and mine) he cant get away ! In a matter of seconds I see 120 on my speedo (which is its max when im not drafting 10ft off some poor stangs taillights), then to my surprise the needle keeps on going to what looked like 130+ ,at this point he had enough and he pulls over and slows way down. So I get up beside him and the poor old guy wont even look over , I guess I wouldnt either if my new v8 sports car couldnt run away from a 1-ton dually! Any-way I was wondering at what top speed are other trucks pushing . I have a friend with a gear-vender that claims he can hit around 145,wow!

Way to go Swalker!!!! Last time I was on I-35 between S. A. and Austin I think we did 45 mph from one city to the next... ...

Way to go SWalker. That guy will probably be at his dealer the next day complaining about low power .

So, is this a challenge to a studying aerospace engineer to design an airplane that can handle the Cummins hangin' off it's nose? Hmmm, I see big things in my future!



(BTW, they are putting diesels in aircraft now, and having quite a success with them)
