Competition Scheid Extravaganza '04 questions...

Hey gang, we will be heading down to Terra Haute for that Saturday August 27. The Scheid website lists a couple of events for that day, basically DHRA pickup pulls. What can I expect that day as far as the type of trucks that will be pulling. Are they everything from stock to blown. The site doesn't get into specifics just wanting to get some more info.

I think Schied will have an all diesel competition in Terre Haute. If it is anything like TiM, hang onto 'yer friggin' hat!

Some of these diesel sled pulling pick-ups defy belief!:--)

So does drury get as wild as the Days Inn in Muncie. We are looking for a place to make reservations also.

Isn't there a Steakhouse in the parking lot?

Last year during the pickup pull, they kept warning us over the PA system about too much 'smoke' and 'ram rodding' around, 'police will start giving out tickets' etc. After the final event the cops were everywhere, waiting for you to leave the fairgrounds and pull you over. Scheid said 'we might not be able to have this event next year cause of the smoke etc. . ' Be careful, nothing like big brother looking over you to spoil the fun. I think the TH police department own Ford diesels and are just jealous
