Some of these school busses were running 300HP Cummins with Alison 1000s behind them. When I talked with a mechanic who worked on them they were working quite well but were not getting anticipated mileage. Must be the over weight problem in some students

the bluebirds in brunswick on ebay, are about 10 minutes from where i work. they are in the next community south. if you are really interested in what these look like, i could run up there on lunch and take a look at them for you. make sure to give me the unit number so i can look at the correct one.



i was a school bus mechanic from 70 to 78. the bluebirds are top of the line bodies.

the cummins speaks for it self. biggest problems on these will probably be rust.

oh no. don't spend any time on this for me. i guess i should have added one of these " :-laf ", or maybe one of these " ", on the end of my original post. i was just wondering if they were part of greenleaf's "hot-rod" fleet.
