Hi my friend has a 2001 Cummins and a 6 speed manual and he was wondering where the schrader valve is on his VP44 pump. Can someone tell me where his valve is and maybe even show me a picture of it?

John, it's at the fitting the arrow is pointing to. This picture is of a 1999 24v which had the older style filter canister an no schrader valves. Starting 2000 they changed it and put a schrader valve where the fuel line enters the VP44. Hope this helps.

By the way if you ever lose the little valve piece you can swipe one from your kid's bicycle tire :-laf

There is one on side of pump where line goes in. Also on that one there is one on back side of filter so you can check pressure befor filter
