2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Scooped Hood - Does anyone make one similar to an SRT-10 for the 2nd Gens?

The truck is getting painted so now would be a good time to get a scooped hood installed. I'm familiar with the Air Bulldog hood but I'd like to get something that is closer looking to the SRT-10 hood with a functional scoop.



I'm thinking that if it is dumping the air in the right spot for a gasser, it should give my BHAF a decent air supply. What do you guys have installed?

I'd like one with a scoop on the right side towards the back to give my BHAF some fresh air. I've looked, haven't seen one.

Here is the only one I've found so far. Has anyone ever used a Harwood hood? I don't want to spend big $$ to fix fit and finish issues. I know the Keystone hoods are nice but they don't have the SRT style available for the second gen trucks.

just curious... . how does using this hood work if it is raining out? wont the bhaf get wet.

Stylin Concepts has several hood scopes for the 2nd Gen trucks. I got mine from them earlier this year, I went with the Cowl induction style in the second version. It was from Reflexion but they handle Goodmark and Keystone as well. For the 1994 to 2001 Dodge trucks they offer the following.

1. Cowl Induction Hood (I,II)

2. Single scoop

3. Viper Style Cowl

4. Twin Scoop Hood



I like to stay with the steel hoods myself, but they do have some fiberglass ones if that is for you. All their hoods use stock factory like backsides, so they bolt right in and all attachments fit.

Well, it's narrowed down to either this Keystone hood or the Harwood I linked to above. The Harwood is closest to what I want but I need to confirm that it has a duct (or similar) like the Keystone as shown in the link.



JDougherty to answer your question, the manufacturerswhose hoods I've seen up close have had a raised section (it looks like the Keystone has their logo located on a raised section) that stops the water. Then there are a couple small drain holes that allows the water to escape into the engine compartment.



I took some measurements off my friends 2000 gasser tonight so I can see if the air duct will line up with the BHAF.
