As I joke, "the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated"...



I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in a early detection scan in January. Removed the kidney and tumor, in February. Healed up, then found some small dots of metastasized cancer in the lungs, not lung cancer, but renal cell cancer from the kidney. (coulnd not be from 35 years of diesel smoke??)



Now, starting cancer treatments for that. Got the car(s) parked, waiting to seehow I feel and watching finances close before continuing to race.



I have the original car for sale, complete and would consider offers in the $32K range. Then, I would be able to finish up the new 6. 7 car.

Good chatting with you John, and look forward to seeing you (and everyone else) at Truckfest.



The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. (to quote Mark Twain)... . Health is great, running 2 miles a day and getting a little thinner.



Life is good, the original car is in Australia, and ready to run. I will go there in January and help Stephan get it running and checked out. Trying to get a few "yanks" to come along, as it is their "SEMA" show and should be fun.



Sold the new 6. 7 dragster, after parting it out. Got too many other projects, and finished up a 1968 Camaro RS that was collecting dust, just in time for Dustin's wedding in July.



Still peddling a bunch of diesel parts on Ebay, and trying to figure out what new race car to play with. Thinking about a front engine dragster with a small block Chevy but that new aluminum Cummins V8 sure looks interesting. Hmmmm... .
