Scotty II and Uni Filters

Will the new Uni Filters for the Scotty II fit inside the plastic shroud or do you have to run them without the shroud?

What plastic shroud? The whole filter fits inside the Scotty II.

Perhaps I'm not understanding how the uni filter works on this. I'm "assuming" you don't have the cotton gauze filter any longer and it's replaced with a foam that slides in the cover/heat shroud?
