Well my Scotty II got here yesterday and so far its still in "hush" mode (no hole yet
)
Right off the bat I noticed a 100* reduction in EGT, quicker shutdown times, and harder to get the EGT's up past 1150 when accelerating at anything less than flat out racing.
All and all great buy and well worth the $$ for someone pushing as much fuel as I am who tows mild amounts of weight occasionally. Having to haul a pickup for a friend tomorrow, and coming home with a 6K lbs goose tonight with the stereo off (CB "amp" on
) I noticed the turbo sings more. Think that'll I'll be able to cover it up nicely with the stereo, but was talking with a friend and can't have both "amps" going at one time! :-laf
I got my Scotty II from Rip Rook @ Source Automotive
Still waiting to drill the hole with a 4. 5" holesaw, but I have a friend who has a 4. 75" holesaw what is everybodies opinion on using it instead?
