Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Scrap Fuel line

Wanna set timing on truck and use drip method. Where can I find scrap fuel line?

I never heard of the drip method. How is it done?

And what part of the fuel line do you need as scrap?

pump side It was in a diesel mag. Ill look it up again but said it was best way to get timing accurate

a junk 24v line will work too as they are the same thread on the pump side.

I may be out of my depth here, but how is this:

At that time, the flow at the test tube should exist but be minimal; 2 to 6 drops per 10 seconds.

... more accurate then using a dial gauge with precession into the fractions of a millimeter?

I guess I'm not understanding what's the perceived benefit of this method over the standard timing method.
