Ok, a few months ago when my father purchased his new/used truck it had a few minor dents in it. He had "The Dent Doctor" come out and fix the dents. While conversing with the dent doctor in the driveway he urged us to call a guy who airbrushed over your scratches, and basically repaired them with paint and filled in the scratch. I have contacted this person, who is no longer in business (Seemed that he didnt show up to perform his work at the dealership and they got tired of dealing with him). Anyways, I am wondering if anyone else is familiar with this process and if there is a national company that does this kind of work. I have searched the internet, and only find the "do-it-yourself" type products. I am looking more for a service. Thanks!!

Ok, I have finally (after going to like 7 dealerships) found a guy that does this on-site scratch repair. He has me "penciled" in to come and see my truck at my place of business next week. I will keep you posted on what "System" he uses, and how it turns out.

DFriedson: Dont understand the pictures... ..... maybe a little insight??

RH- why are you selling your truck? Your not getting a 3rd gen are you??

The picture looks like an airbrushed mask, funny joke lol

EBottema, yes, I purchased an '03 quad cab short bed 2500 auto. I am selling my '98. Basically, I decided to get a new one for the body style, and less miles, and an auto. I love the Green/Silver, but its time to get something different.

Ok, Update. I had the "Dent Control" guy come out and give my new truck a walk around and fix all the dents that he could. I took 1 dent out of each door, 1 out of the rear bedside just above the tail light, and then worked on my tailgate for quite some time trying to get a crease out of it. It all looks great, and now all I have left is 1 small scuff/scratch on the drivers door and one on the rear pass door. I have been driving around to dealerships to find this infamous guy that "airbrushes" in scratches. I thought I had found him, but after mentioning his name to my "Dent Control" man have found out that he is not reliable, and doesnt even have the system that he is claiming that he can use to fix my truck "up better than new". So... . the quest continues. I do have a good lead on another guy he is called "Man from Mars" but the dealership didnt have any of his cards, and told me to call anytime on Tuesdays and they would get him in from the lot and let me talk to him.
