Does anyone know what size the screws are on the AFC housing? I want to replace mine with allen scews to make it easier to take on and off.

M6x1. 0. The top two should be about 20-22mm long and the two that hold the shutdown solenoid on should be about 25-28mm long. Use a small lock washer and a normal washer with the screws.

You can get M6x1. 0 allen head screws at any Home Depot, Lowes, Orchard Supply Hardware, or just about any hardware store in town.

Don't run an auto in my truck and have no clue as to the size of the transmission pan bolts.

Found the screws at Home Depot, 3 cents apiece. They only had 25mm and 30mm lengths though so I guess I can shim them with washers if needed.

Thanks.....

One of my favorite companies, with whom I've done business for about 20 years now (once by catalog, now over web): Small Parts, Inc. (www.smallparts.com). I've never seen them mentioned on this site before, but they are a great source for miscellaneous whatzitz: screws, bolts, springs, ball bearings, tubing, metal, rubber, valves, you name it. Tend to be pricey because quality is first-rate (for instance, almost all of their bolts and screws are stainless steel). They mostly cater to researchers (like me), engineers and product developers, so don't expect a lot of automotive-specific stuff; just (like the name says) small parts.
