Is the 18" hose Genos sells for the FP gauge install a propriety thing or can I ask for one at a parts house? Any idea what part number to ask for? The only number I see is the Dayco B704, but that references the hose itself.

Thanks for the help.

I screwed mine up by overtightening it to the schrader valve. I just dug out the plastic from the end of the hose and removed the valve core from the schrader then reattached the hose.

I have the Westach gauge, but I am using a sending unit. I did the same thing Rammer, but I was leary about removing the core. Have you had any problems doing that?

Thanks.

I would have preferred to leave the core for a dealer test port, but I have not had any problems without it. Removing the valve core is common for people who used a common grease gun hose instead of the Geno's hose.

Good Luck!

Bill
