Need a sandwich...Hooters anyone?

Ok when is it??? Oo. Oo. Oo. Has it been a year since I met you all already?? Seems longer than that to me! So where and when huh huh huh? Oo. Oo.

Well, that would be a good date for me. Boat will be put to bed by then and I'll be able to attend an event or two.

Jay

Well let's get some dates in a pot and gather some data. We obviously want maximum attendance as it really is a big shebang! This will be the third annual so let's go big! What dates are GOOD ..... GOOD for everyone on average ... so far the 6th ..... any others?

Do they have WHOLE fried clams in your area of CT? I'm from Boston originally, and they only have clam strips :( here in Maryland, where I live now. Sure do miss those clams Oo.

Jim

Whole belly , lil' neck , cherry , up clam , down clam , anywhere and all around clams. Usually Deo shows up with a bushell or two of 'em. Hmmm Any ideas on what we want to do new this year?

Perhaps jcarey will join us ... . and bring up a bushel of fresh Blue Crabs!!!!! Oo.

This has been held my office / garage in Derby. It's about 20 minutes north of Bridgeport.

It's a heated one bay shop. Only one bay for wrenching if it's too cool or raining outside.

There is all sorts of food, burgers, dogs, sausage, clams, etc. Basically open to whoever feels like cooking something.

Last year we had JLEONARD make some killer pork loins on the grill, TnLRacing made probably a few dozen pizza's and stuffed breads, BigDaddy made chowder, Jengle made chili, and clams courtesy of Deo. If I forgot to mention anyone else I'm sorry.

The first year we had about 40 or so lobsters thanks to 98rammer from Maine, and clams from Deo.

This event is a great opportunity to meet a lot of people. Not too much wrenching, but lots of eating and having a good time!

There is also a raffle with a ton of cool prizes.

i could probably make it. i can go down to the pound and get just about anything http://www.bayleys.com/lobster.html it isn't cheap (like crab meat is ~ $36 per pound) so i dunno how the whole money deal would work out, but i'll contribute some if you guys/gals would like anything special. most of the meat comes in 1/2 pound, pound, 1/4 pound, or like a cup for stew, etc.

E mail and phone #'s on my website if you need to call/write-- or just PM.
