Who Wants An Arguement?

I'm a computer illiterate.

Im still keeping in mind that they are the first team in NFL history to go to the playoffs with a losing record. And, I believe, they went in with the largest underdog spread in a playoff game.

OK, going in to today, if you would have told me the Seahawks and Jets would be moving on, I would have never believed it.

That's the biggest sports upset since tiny little University of Northern Iowa ended the Jayhawks dreams of a National basketball title last season.

Good job, Seahawks! I couldn't bear another year of N'Awlins 'who dat?' nausea.

Well, we can count on one thing, the next game the Hawks lose, it will be the refs fault. Whiners

The refs came out a while ago and admitted that they made huge mistakes in 2005, and that it probably affected the momentum of the game.

BTW, has Roethlisberger raped anybody lately ? Just curious.

ONE ref admitted he blew a call.

Big deal.

You cant have all the close calls your way. If you get a bad call taken away, we get one, outcome is the same, Seahawks choke, and lose.

If they were for real, they would have come back the next year... did they even make the playoffs since?

How are they doing this week? LMFAO!!!

Sorry, Sled, but the Squealers are going down in their next game, too. As are the Bares. It will be the Pack vs. Jets for the Superbowl with Green Bay coming out on top.

I have no dog in this fight, but the way the Jets and Pack have played the past two weeks shows they are really peaking at the right time and playing truly professional football. The patriots were an embarrassment...

Hopefully, someone besides NY's coach will start giving some credit to the workhorse on the Jet's offense: Shon Greene. He does the heavy lifting all the way down the field, then the primadonna has-been, LT, gets to take it in from the 1 yard line for all the glory.

SRATH,

Who are the PACKERS playing again. I thought it was the Chicago BEARS not the BARES as you stated. Maybe they will beat the BARES, I do not know?

BTW, when the last time the Bears and Packers played for the National championship game in Dec 14,1941 Who Won????

Jim

P. S. Chicago Bears won

I used the term "Bares" to refer to their collective talent, as well as how much dumb luck they have left in the cupboard, Jim. ;)

And the coaches, much less the players, were not even born in 1941, so what does that have to do with anything? If you're placing your faith in that trivia, you are really reaching...

If it makes you feel better, almost every team I hoped, often against my better judgement, would win in the playoffs has lost. Now I don't care and can be very objective based on recent games and what the 4 teams have shown their abilities and attitudes to be, which is all that matters. And I stick by my prediction of the Pack vs. Jets for the superbowl. They are peaking and playing and being coached at a whole new level than they showed for most of the season and have not been merely lucky in these playoffs.

Rodgers looks as good right now as any QB to ever have played the game, and that's saying something. He is surgical in his precision and as cool as ice under pressure. And his receivers are catching those lightning bolts, something the losers in the playoff games this year cannot claim. I've never seen such poor receiving by some of the defeated teams. And they have discovered a running game that lets their passing game work.

But it is defense that wins championships, and Green Bay has a monster, like the '85 Bears did, though I doubt I'll ever see another as good as those Bears were. Matthews is an animal, and he has plenty of help along with a terrific secondary behind them despite the huge number of injuries and the depths to which they had to dig on their backup roster this season.

Chicago's trophy case will remain "Bare" this year.
