Seal Driver

I am sure that someone has figured this out already because I am always last for these kinds of things but... . I had to replace a leaking rear axle seal today and was looking for something to drive the seal in the hole as all of my drivers are to small. I looked around and low and behold the axle shaft was perfect the flanged end was just right to drive it in there square. I covered the splined end up of course and with a couple of wacks with my favorite sledge it was in there perfect. Just for FYI. Danny

I took a piece of 3/4 inch plywood and cut a round disc just slightly smaller than the seal and use it and my friendly persuader to drive the seal in place.
