I've noticed a creaking/ clicking noise in my front end when turning at slow speeds on my 02. I'm hoping it might be my top ball joint just asking for grease again(bottoms are fairly new) And after looking at it yesterday thought that it might be the front U-joints too needing grease. After looking, they seemed to be sealed units like on the drive shaft, is this true? I've heard some trucks require the needle type greasegun fittings, but I have zero experience with those, so I couldn't find any fittings on the joint to say the least. Does anybody else have an idea other things I need to check out to find this noise? I'm going to check the hub bearings too while I'm at it. Any suggestions would be great.

If they are the stock u-joints they are sealed. if they have been replaced and are greaseable there should be a zerk in the end of one of the caps that you have to use a needle style grease tip with. As far as the hub bearings the are a sealed unit also

Yeah, they are the stock u-joints. The only ones left in my truck now! Both driveshafts have all new joints, the front is my third one actually.
