I am having a real hard time getting the v-clamps to seal the exhaust when the PAC is on. The worst one is the hot pipe to the upper turbo. I have tried to align the pipes seaveral times and I have tried high temp anti sieze, but nothing seems to help. I was thinking if someone made a copper gasket or some type sealent that would hold up to the back pressure of a PAC brake. Any ideas would be welcome. See sig for set up.

You've got a dent, or something else wrong... We have had no problems with this... . we ask each customer to come back in 100 miles for a recheck... and we re-tighten it when its cold and its good for the life of the truck...

I personally own several trucks with pacbrakes as well... . this is not a problem... .

Loosen the pipe at the muffler and allow the clamp to pull the joint together... . We use a mirror to make sure the back is aligned when we tighten the clamp and sometimes we might tap the clamp softly with a hammer as we bring the clamp tight... .

I suggest you take it apart and inspect it... . I can only assume with your inline brake that the adapters are not aligned to the pipe correctly and are at a slight angle... . so its under stress.....

We install the adapters clamp the exhaust brake in place... tack weld the fitting and pull it apart and weld it... .

Hope this helps. .

All of the connections supplied by you and PAC are fine. I get just the stightest wisp of air or nothing from those pipies. I am have a small leak at the big turbo exit to the down pipe that may be contributed to a dent in the flange, but the big problem is the hot pipe from the small turbo to the big one. It looks like it should pull in and seat well but I am getting a leak were the bolt is and there is a v band gap. I guess I will have to pull the syspen apart again and try to get it to line up. Mayby the 4th time is the charm.
