I installed new Dynatrac ball joints in my truck this weekend. Installation went well. The only thing bad is after everything was back together, I pumped some grease into the fittings and I noticed the seals in the top joints started to pop out. I took the grease fittings out to relieve the pressure and then pushed the seals back in with a couple screw drivers, then reinstalled the grease fittings. Hopefully the seals will stay in place and not come back out!

Has anyone else had this happen? Did yours stay in after being pushed out? The instruction sheet is vague and mentions nothing about lubricating these joints, but common sense tells me to give them some grease after installation.

Yes I finished mine today did the first side just fine. When I did the other side I greased them before I put the knuckle on and it popped the seal out. I clean the grease out the put some loctite on the outer edge before I put it in. I wasn't very happy about it. I just became a dealer for them, so we could use them in our customers snow plow trucks hoping they would hold up better.

Has anyone contacted Dynatrac about this? I have been saving up to get rid of my Moogs and thought I was going to go with Dynatracs, but this is an interesting turn of events.
