Search Feature Seems Odd

I use the search feature a lot and it seems like it's had a small but very significant change since the new software. It seems like words are not automatically linked by a logical AND. For example, a search on:



fuel delivery



will find threads that contain EITHER "fuel" OR "delivery" but not necessarily both.



Is this correct, or am I all messed up? If it's true, could you guys make a note that the default logic is OR rather than AND?

I did a major revision to the search engine recently - had an announcement up at the top of the forums for about a week about it. Right below where you put in your search terms there is a link to help on how it works - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/searchhelp.html . I also have that same information in the website faq forum. The new search is MUCH more powerful than the old one. If you want to include all the terms you are searching on then you just need to put a + before each word - ie "+fuel +pump". All the info is on that help page.
