Search Improvement

I've managed to change the search word minimum length to 3 characters.



This is a test run. If the 3 character search impacts the server speed and there any "server busy" errors or it impacts other web processes, the search limit will go back to 4 characters.



Note that we are upgrading the system hardware. If this test run works well on the current system, it will be permanent on the new system.

How about getting rid of the 30 second rule? That one makes it frustrating.

Its posted somewhere the 30 second rule will be reduced, after the server upgrade. I believe new equipment is being bought for the server and don't think its in just yet. If I stumble across where I saw that I'll come back in link to it.

In this world, there are always those who will not be happy unless they have a reason to complain. Always a grinch in the bunch. After putting in the effort to rebuild the database for 3 letter words, its really disheartening to see the only user response to be a complainer... .
