Anyone ever replaced their steering wheel?

Picked up a new-to-me truck yesterday, can't wait to get the side-by-side pic with my flatbed, they're both the same color.

Yesterday when I got it home there was a pie plate-sized puddle of motor oil under it, so I'm gonna replace the rear main and cam plug. Hopefully that'll take care of the leaks. Other than that and the lack of paint on the roof and hood, its a 2-owner truck with a pristine bed and tailgate.

Anybody interested in a camper?:)

Oh, and does anyone have a Borgeson steering shaft that they wanna sell/trade/... ?

I got an old Borgeson shaft (and I do mean old! It might be only a few years younger than me) with a rag joint flange that came out of my 90, but if I remember right its shot with a broken rubber boot over the u-joint (the boot may-or-may-not be a big deal, but it is rusty). I'll check tomorrow.

check the KDP. If it broke the gear case, you would have a big oil leak. I do have a spare gear case for a first gen, already fixed the KDP hole with a set screw.

C'mon Pete, camper shell, you know, where you used to hook up with chicks when you were younger:-laf

Joe, I've got the transmission and t-case out, it was definately the rear main. I plan on taking the front end apart next.

This project is already going over budget real quick...

Oh, the cap! ;) I never used it, looking at the stars was more romantic. So she said, I was busy! :-laf
