The $50 prompted me to go down & test a 3500 Quad HO 6sp.
The pros:
Ride is real nice & forgiving.
Brakes--Its got some!!!
Rear doors & seat room are good.
Great Infinity stereo.
Cons:
Annoying stumble right off idle from 1000-1200. What the hell is that all about?
HO Power is only adequate. My 12v is faster & more powerful with a very mild torque plate. I'm spoiled now...
6sp shifting is pure crap. What the hell is that all about? Come on NVG why can't you get your ducks in a row?
Overall I was disappointed & could not justify the $45k to get one. I am extremely Pro Dodge/Cummins w/ all my Durapad freinds but I can see why they bought one. For me, I'll be sticking to my 12v for at least another 150,000 miles or so.
