I just replaced the two Diehards I bought in July of 2000. And with their 100 month warranty I got 'em for about half price.

That's 4 summers of Phoenix heat. Not too shabby..... :)

I buy Everstarts at wal mart (the yellow ones) and they have a 3-year free replacement. they only seem to last about 2 years (I guess the winch is hard on them) so I havent bought batteries since 99. and Ive got em replaced twice free!

I still have the original batteries in mine and its a 99 so its been almost 6 yrs and thats here in Indiana where it gets cold and fairly hot in the summer, I don't know what brand of batteries they are but they have been good batteries for me

Not bad guys. My OEM's lasted five Las Vegas summers. I was impressed! Replaced them with Optima red tops this September. Will see how they perform.

Sounds like you've all had pretty good luck with your batteries. I replaced my originals two years ago with Optima red tops. I've used these dry cell batteries in other applications and they really last. A bit pricey, but worth it, IMHO.

I buy Sears Gold for my heavy equipment and they never last three years 100% warranty with the reciept I think 70% without receipt.
