2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Seat Belt length

I HATE the freakin seat belt in my truck!!! I did the seat cushion upgrade and my seat is perfect but the seat belt is so tight that I can barely get it fastened!

( I don't think it has anything to do with my ever expanding girth )



Is there a way to lengthen the belt or an aftermarket extension for it I have to do something as I can't stand it this way for much longer and the local constabularies frown on driving without it!!

I don't know about the availability of aftermarket extensions but I have seen several paragraphs in the model year 2000 (and they're likely also in the model year 2001) Owner's Manual detailing a Seat Belt Extender: why it may be needed, where it can be obtained (dealer), what to do when it's not required, along with with a CYA warning.

IIRC, JC Whitney has/had some. Been a while, so not 100% sure.

I bought mine from my local Dodge dealer. Less than $10 for the pair as I recall. You can hook several together if you put too much cush in the cushion.
