Well, I have passed the 20,000 mile mark and over all I'm happy with my truck, except fuel milage.

My biggest complaint is the seat belts. Major pain in the ****.

The engineer that designed these must have gone to a special stupid school.

They constanly get twisted in the latch piece. Putting the notch in the latch makes it even worse. Its amazing how the belt can twist around in the clip by itself, but almost impossible to get twisted back arpound. Doesnt help that the belt comes out of the seat vertically instead on horizontal.

I would like to complain to DC, but I know it would be like shoveling sand against the tide.

If it was life threatening we could complain to safety folks.

Anyway, wanted to vent my frustration. :(

I was wondering if anyone was going to post something on the retarded seat belts! You'd think we would have seat belts figured out by now. Then there are the mirrors that won't stay adjusted, the wiper blades that hit the hood when you lift them to clean the windshield, and let's not forget the almost useless drink holder on the manaul transmission trucks.

Slow-ryde

I am not sure what you mean by the useless cup-holders, I generally drink a 64 oz or 44 oz drink an the holders work great for those. My coffee cup on the other hand is not weel suited to the holders.

We just got a FORD 450 and the cup holders in there are great for 6 oz drinks or holding a can of edge shaving cream. Seems like none of the big three get it!

My gripe with the cup holder is that it's not deep enough to keep cups or bottles from falling over on curves or rough roads. After having coffee spill on the carpet several times I quit using it. I'll probably get a couple of the holders that hang from the door. I agree, why can't the Big 3 get with the program?

Seat belt engineers

The reason the seat belts are designed that way is because the guys that engineer these trucks don't actually drive'em!!:D
