I find that quite often when I reach over the driver's seat to get something out of the storage box, I lean on a seat switch and first thing I know is the seat is moving.

Is it possible to fit a relay into the seat power circuit so the switches only get power when the key is in either the aux or on position?

Also, where would I get power for the relay from, ie radio power wire?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem and also wanted my power windows to work without the key. Solution was to trade the wires from the window breaker (or fuse, don't remember?) with the seat breaker. This was the first mod I did to my truck when it was one day old.

There is reasoning behind the way it's set up, windows aren't supposed to work without the key so kids don't get choked, seat's not supposed to be adjusted while driving.

Guess I'm breaking two rules with one stone.
