Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Seat Recliner Internals Shot

I pulled the handle today to tilt drivers seat forward but all something went to pot instead. I heard a noise like a wound up spring may be broke and now the handle on the side of the seat is limp. I'm glad the seat is adjusted perfectly or I'd be SOL. I suspect you can't get any seat parts like this without buying an entire seat but I thought I'd see what other people had to say.



I haven't taken the side fascia panel off the seat yet to see if some junkyard hunting would easily fix this problem.

Sounds like some new seats are in order. I went with some National air ride seats... I had to build my own brackets. . But man o man! They were worth the time and money. It took the wife a bit of time to adjust to them but now she hates riding on a stock seat.
