Seatcovers 2018 1500 & 2500

A lot of the old posts pics are shot. Already searched for this one...

Will be picking up a 2018 1500 and 2018 2500 Tradesman's both with vinyl seats.

One will be used in TX one used in NJ, my guess is the vinyl will be brutal in TX as far as heat and will need a cover.

I see the Seatsavers from Geno's any reviews or other options. Or is the vinyl decent and just overthinking this.

Work grade vinyl is good quality. I’ve used Covercraft from Genos and was satisfied. This last time I went with Headwaters. The weave is a little tighter and they fit a little snugger. More work to install but a great fit.

I found a guy in mu area that would recover the front seats with leather and provide new seat cushioned for $750. Look around and you might be able to find someone who will recover your seats for you at a reasonable price.

I'd gladly trade you my cloth seats with <6 month old Headwater covers for your vinyl.
I'm very satisfied with the fit and finish of my Headwaters, but I'd have much preferred vinyl.

If your concerned with UV you could tint all windows including windshield to a lesser degree. Or buy some type of sun shade for windshield while truck is stationary. That may be easier said than done depending on the aptitude of the people driving your truck.

I took delivery of them today, I'm very impressed with the quality, I was expecting a Uhaul truck type Vinyl or an old school ecoline van seat, the ones provided are very nice, the 2500 is staying in NJ, the 1500 will head to TX will go with the Genos cover for the 1500.

Guess should have mentioned I never actually looked at these before buying, these are our 6th vechicle this year really dont have time to visit the lot and spend time picking them apart. Have been waiting since Aug for the 2500 and1500, and picked up another little promaster city.
