I had a Con OFE installed by a local transmission shop about 3 weeks ago. The pedal pressure is nice and easy, clutch doesn't chatter at all, transmission shifts smoothly, and its not much grabbier than stock. We're planning a camping trip for next weekend so I figured I'd hook up the 5'ver and go for a test drive to make sure the clutch is holding. 1st through 5th gears I can't make the clutch slip at all. In 6th gear I can feel it slip when pulling a hill. Anyone have any thoughts or advice on this?So far I'm very happy with the clutch and hope there's not something wrong. Maybe its just not fully seated?

I had one installed about the same time. The paperwork that came with the clutch said to drive it pretty aggressively and it would seat just fine. I've done just that with mine. I have a 5spd; EZ and DDII's and I can't even make it think about slipping. I haven't had my 26ft TT behind me yet, so I can't relate to what's happening with yours, but if you have any questions, Peter at Southbend is a great guy to talk to and will answer any and all questions you might have. Just give him a jingle.

I just finished installing mine this weekend... . whew that transmission is heavy. I read also about the seat-in time. I was a lil concerened as well. My pedal pressure is about half of what the stock was(on the easy side). My only real concern is that the clutch disengauges alot further out then the stock. Does anyone else find this the same?

I do slip the clutch a lil & it seems to be getting better, but its only been 3 days.

Haven't slipped my Con OFE yet. The installation could be the cause... not cleaning everything, greasy fingers, bad (or no) flywheel re-surfacing, etc. Definitely talk to Peter if you continue to have issues.
