My wife complains of pain in here back when riding in the passenger seat.



Can the backrest be modified or is their a good cusion which can be purchased to eliminate this problem?

First - welcome to the TDR. As you will find, there is a wealth of information here.



Do a search on "seats" or "cushion". You might find what you are looking for. There is another post currently running about adding foam to the seat bottom - maybe that would help.



Also may want to repost your question under the 2nd Generation Forum for better exposure (or the moderator may move it for you - hint!) Takes a while to get used to all the features of the site - good luck in your search.

Steve, if you want to spend the money, there are some air ride seats that will take most of the shock out for the wife. I had some info on these before I bought my new seats but dumped it after I got them. I don't have the air rides but there is info on the internet if you look hard enough. Try a search on "truck seats" and see what comes up.

get your hands on an issue 35. There is an article on how to do the "seat fix" I did it and it helped me. I think as stated above if you search, somebody typed up most of the article.
