Houston meeting for July

Any Idaho guys going to Timberline Dodge

Here's what I'm planning:

Meet at 7am at the south-bound Federal Way truck scales on I-5 that are a mile south of exit #142(hwy18). The scales are closed on weekends,so there is alot of parking.

If we leave by 7:15 it will give us plenty of time to stop for breakfast at Farm Boy if we want to,and still plenty of time for cleaning up the trucks for the show-n-shine.

Sound good to you?

Two thumbs up...ok at least one anyway (the icon only has one)

Sounds good Mike!

In fact, I stopped at the Farm Boy restaurant several weeks ago when I had my A/C system serviced by "sam peterson" (TDR member and BB poster). Great food as always and Sam and his crew made my A/C system blow icicles. :D

BOMBvoying...the only way to go

We are going. Not sure about breakfast, I usually dont eat in the morning. I will be too excited to get there and see everyone:cool:

I live in Just south of Tumwater Wa. Justr off 93 rd ave . If you want to go to the Farm Boy for breakfast you need to let them know if you are4 going to have a large group. I want to join up with the Bombvoy on the 14th and am going to meet with Teacher in Toledo Wa. We need to know when you are going to come by there and what chanel (cb) you are on so we can join in and go with.

Your friend Dave Gardner.

Rob, you mean you are not going to get to meet me afterall????

I guess I will have to take up company with your brother-in-law, last I heard he was still going.

Hey Mike, last year we arrived at the Farm Boy around 6:15 AM (15 min. after they opened). The proposed meeting time of 7:00 AM (in Federal Way) is going to reduce prep. time for those entering the show-n-shine. Any ideas? Or should I make other plans?

BTW Dave, last year I went to the Farm Boy a month prior to the Timberline Dodge rally to setup a tentative reservation... the owner told me they don't make large group reservations anymore due to being stiffed too many times in the past. That said, I told her of our tentative arrrangements (date, time, approx. number of people etc. ) and that we WOULD be there. When we arrived they had three tables pushed together for us. :)

I will definetely miss not meeting all of you guys... I had a blast last year walking around and talking to everyone.

Shelby... you will enjoy my brotherinlaw... for an in-law, he is OK! I had to show him the light, tho... his dad is a die-hard ford man!

The previous engagement in Pendleton is the free use of a driver and cat. I tried to get it done this weekend, but couldn't... so it is back down there again next weekend. I am getting a road punched in to my newly acquired property. 161 beautiful acres! Now that I am paying for it, I can't afford a cat. This offer is too good to pass up.

To Steve Stirrett... I am sending the money with John for your TDR emblem... I want to see a pic of it mounted on your rig!

Saturday morning when I am working with the cat, I will certainly think of you guys BOMBvoying to PDX and all that will go on down there! Have a fun and safe trip!

What time do you expect to be at Farm Boy and where is it???

I can't be at Timberline as I need to be in Shelton WA for a show on the same day. Seems like all the dyno days, etc. are on dates that conflict with other events I need to attend.

I'm leaving Portland area early Saturday to drive up to Shelton, and if Farm Boy isn't north of where I need to get off I-5 to go over to Shelton, I'll try to be there for breakfast.

Somehow I've got a feeling Farm Boy is further north than I'm going :-(

Irontrader... FarmBoy is about 200ft west of I5, at the exit to Little Rock, Capitol Forest. I don't remember the exit number tho.

From there, you can take the old hwys up to Shelton.

MikeR will be reading the TDR soon... and I am sure he will post a more specific time, if nothing changes, the BOMBvoy should be there at 7:40am or so. Last year we were there just after 6am.

I think I remember hearing the phrase... "getting up at the buttcrack of dawn!"
