Seattle Record breaking Canola deal

Just caught the tail end of radio report, a Seattle Bio-diesel distiller signs deal with Yakima agriculture co-op for million gallons of Canola oil. Called out as biggest regional deal on record. Sign of the times.

I guess the next time I order feed I'll be going back to DDG and no more Canola. Can't imagine a deal like that will lower the price of Canola meal.

my understanding is that the leftovers from pressing the oil can be used as feedstock.
