Or is it, they have bad gun control??

We won't even go into the morons shooting 20 times at EACH OTHER, I'm upset they shot 20 ROUNDS and hit NOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, thank goodness they have high capacity Berettas, makes me feel safer.

Time to Barney Fife these guys, one bullet, in your pocket, then you'll make it count.

I guess its a new age cop thing, a guy took a gun a way from some punk in Portland Oregon and the cops arrived on the scene, not knowing this was a good guy this cop shoot 8 times at the guy from about 10 feet away, thank god he only hit him in the fore arm and leg, I agree these hit capacity weapons makes the guy shooting a spray and pray guy.  Jack

I think these kids all are "lethal weapons" instead of "Dirty Harry"

When you have 6 rounds instead of 19, you think a little before you shoot.

Maybe they have never hunted either.

As anyone considered WHERE the 20 rounds went to??

We, the innocent bystanders, are at as much or MORE risk than the bad guys.

No wonder it's one of the most dangerous jobs!

I sure hope these guys get a grip, or more training before one of them get lucky and hit an other officer in the center mass!

Maybe these guys should NOT have to qualify, just so that they'd preserve their own.

What's the qualification/re-qual criteria for cops? I'm guessing they are not required to shoot/qualify that often. Is it always a budget issue for training rounds?

This sort of thing is allways startling and scary; hard to understand how it can happen.

It seems to me (I realize that none of us will really know how it is unless we have been there) that the training, and weapon qualifying, lack an element of reality that would prepare officers to deal with the stress, pressure, fear?????? what ever of such an event.

No matter how accurately one can punch holes in a paper target, it will do no good when confronted with a person shooting back , if you are unable to have presence of mind and control of your body to utilize the skill.

I hesitate to be judgemental because I have not been there, I only suggest that law enforcement agencies should make a strong effort to give officers training to enable them to deal with such situations----if it is possible

You think guns are dangerous (or not in this case of obvious stupidity), Check this-

Number of physicians in the US: 700,000.

Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year: 120,000.

Accidental deaths per physician: 0. 171

(U. S. Dept. of Health Human

Services)

Number of gun owners in the US: 80,000,000.

Number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups): 1,500.

Accidental deaths per gun owner: 0. 0000188

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than

gun

owners.

"FACT: Not everyone has a gun, but everyone has at least one Doctor. "

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban begin the

process in congress to ban all doctors before

this gets out of hand!!!!!!!!

[As a Public Health Measure we have withheld the statistics on Lawyers

for

fear that the shock of those numbers could cause people to seek medical

aid

thus compounding the numbers. ]
