OK, guys, like I said, doesn't matter what day. Either day is fine with me. But, I got to say one thing, is there going to be anymore wives there or significant others. This is a family event. Lets try to get the females and other family members involved so we can bore them to death talking about our trucks. Steaks sound good to me also. I know we got a few days before this happens, but being a member to another diesel club, it seems to be getting harder and harder to get more than 3 people to agree on something. LOL. So, if there is going to be 5 or more of us, we really have our work cut out for us. LOL again.

Hi Guys,
The fifteenth is a better day for me, as I will probably have to work on saturday. Steaks are on me, and I'll grill 'em up too. I had one other person answer my plea for starting a local chapter. I will e-mail him with our plans for this get together. Steve if you don't mind I will give him your address for directions. As far as spouses coming, mine will be a no show. I will be bringing my pulling team pit crew chief (Kenny) with me though. Maybe by then I can show off my new bedliner and rocker pannel treatment.

I don't know if I said earlier, but the 15th would be a better day for me.

Don

Anyone out there interested please post soon. A decision is going to come soon as to what day to gather. I really hate making a decision that would not let someone come by!

Markcuda, My wife really is not interested in sitting around there talking guy stuff. She is not unsociable but has a lot to do on the weekends and also likes to goof off some too. She usually goes with me if I have a weekend of racing but that is so she can be close if something happens to me. It hasn't happened yet but if it would she probably would not let me go compete at the races anymore if I was able. See you at the gathering.

OK the decision is in. The meeting will be on the 15th. I think it would be a good idea to rotate Saturdays/Sundays every other meeting to get the most out of everybody's schedules. Thanks Steve for the suggestion. Hope to see a bigger group this time. Any one with the need for directions email me and tell me what direction you would be coming from and I will guide you. #ad

By the way, I forgot to set some time frame. Anyone interested can come by as early as 8:00AM and figure on breaking up around 4:00PM. See you there!

Also, is anyone interested in an overnight camping/float trip somewhere in central Missouri? Maybe the weekend of October 21/22? Sagwagon will set it up if enough people are interested. I don't know about the overnight for myself because of the animals that need to be tended to, but I would be game for a float trip!

Hey,Shannon; Congrats on your first post and glad you can make it. I'll have the pictures from last time at the meeting but if you need directions, contact mopars1. And Don,remember no pets in the park. Just means you'll have to hunt for steaks before that date.

Hey there Shannon,
Good to see you on board. Sorry I haven,t been posting lately, but our job is about eight weeks behind schedule so guess who GETS to put in all the O-T he can stand #ad

I'm still going to be there on the 15th though. Has anybody got a head count yet? I'll need to know so I will know how big the Critter needs to be #ad

Hi Don,
Just bring enough for 30 people. If you don't use all the steaks I'll just take them home with me. LOL. With the 15th of October being 29 days yet, there could be very easily 30 people. I know the first gathering was a tad bit unorganized. I say that laughing, packaged ketchup?????????? What's that? LOL. No buns because SOMEONE left them at home. On the October gathering I'll be glad to bring all of the condiments. I would also be willing to bring all of the plates, silverware, knives, forks, napkins, you know the deal. Are we going to make this kind of a potluck thing because there is no way Don should be responsible for all the food. As the weeks progress, maybe I should put as the days progress, we should kick this around and decide what all we need to bring to make this the best damn gathering this side of the Mississippi. LOL.
