Secondary fuel filter recommendations?

I ran a Baldwin BF1212 before the OEM filter and a Fleetguard FF5814 after the OEM filter on my 05.

On my '96 I added Fleetguard fuel filter just outside the fuel tank going to engine one, did make difference in my opinion.

Two years and 25K miles ago, I bought and installed a CAT/Cummins dual fuel filter kit from Throttle-Up Industries, in Bend, OR. The kit mounts between the fuel tank and the factory fuel filter. There are two filters in it, one to separate water, the other to filter solids down to 2 microns. I figure adding these filters will significantly extend the life of the very expensive injectors at reasonable cost. So far so good...

I setup a Racor R90s water filter/separator (2 micron) just outside tank (under bed) and kept the oem filter as a safety catch filter.

Micron Rating: 98% @ 4 Micron μm

This one looks good. I like the hard lines and minimal rubber. The only not so good thing is the lack of heating provision. The under hood filter kits will eventually warm up.

I ended up buying the caterpillar single filter kit. Easy install. Took about 45 mins.
