Security Alarm

This might be a dumb question but how do you set the alarm or know if the alarm is set. I thought i read that a red light would flash to show activation. Its a factory installed alarm. Thanks for any help

It's set when you use the remote lock. You should see a red flashing light in the analog speedo.

Ok, tried it last night. Couldnt see a flashing light outside of truck but locked it while i was inside and could see the light flashing. The speedo needle was in the way when i was standing outside
