Joke of the day

Avoiding Emergency Vehicles

Depression has set in after watching my '84 2. 5ton Blazer go up the road on a Flat-bed Semi. I haven't played in the mud or dragged anyone backwards in quite a while and didn't think I'd miss it. Boy was I wrong!

All those good times from taking damsels deep in the woods to putting the 2. 5 ton Rockwell axles and 46"tires on quickly came back to me and how I miss her. Boy was it ever a Babe magnet!!!

On the good side, she went to a good home. An Event Coordinator for a Lexington Mud-Sling bought it as a Rescue vehicle for victims stuck in the pits.

Maybe I'll go see her at work next weekend at the Sling.

Just thought I'd get it off my chest.

Wowzy, I think that is what they mean when they say gone but not forgotten. I still think about my 98 auto, and I have a 01 HO 6spd now. They stick in your mind a while.

I know what you mean. I had a 75 jeep CJ-5 that a Kenworth with 2 40 foot belly dumps ran a red light and hit the drivers side doing about 30 MPH. I kept the Jeep, wanting to fix it up, for over 3 years. Of couse the only thing that was still good was the passinger seat and Speedometer. I got let it go a few years ago and still miss it. And yes I was in it at the time of the accident.
