Archived Seeking Turbo clamps

:--) I need the 2 half circle rings and bolts that hold the fresh air part of the turbo to the exausht side. Just got back from the fine cummins dealer in Grand Rapids mi. They informed me that they could order new ones for 36bux each for the clamps and the bolts would be 4. 25 apeice. If I needed them right away I would have to pay for overnight shipping. I told them It sounds good if they can drop a zero from each price. That didnt impress them at all . So if anyone has a roached turbo and would like to sell the bolts and clamps let me know . The truck is a 98. 5 24v 5 speed stock turbo. Thanks Otis

Otis - unfortunately sometimes we have to bite the bullit and pay the piper. It sux but if you need them you need them. However, if you can afford to wait then I'm sure someone out there will kick in and help out if they have what you need.

I have found my clamps. I called holset in memphis. They gave me the name of a dist in IL. They sold me 4 bolts for 2. 40 and 2 clamps for 4. 73. . The name of the place in IL is durabuilt 1 800 346 8641 Very friendly parts dept ,seamed to know what there doing. The name of the cummins dealer in Grand Rapids is MUD

Good find Otis. Really burns me that the manufacturer can't take better care of people trying to keep "their" products going - they just have to try and rape you every chance they get.
