i,m looking for some imfo on the best tire to buy that will get the best miles. michelin ?? less swab ?? toyo ??? any sugestions, i pull a 5r trailer (16,000) lbs. with a 99 ram 3500

I got 105,000 miles out of a set of six Michelin X Radial LT235. When replaced they still had 5/32" of tread depth remaining but I knew I would be encountering snow and ice and didn't figure another 10k miles was worth being stuck or sliding off in a ditch. I bought that set and the replacement set from SAM's Club. Approximately $1050 for a set of six or $0. 01 per mile.

That was 99. 9% highway miles, mostly loaded pulling various fifth wheel or conventional travel trailers. Tires were rotated and balanced approximately every 10-12k miles.

Hello, Alittle late with reply, but I transport Campers for a living and I use LT 235-85-16 on my 96 dually. I use Dayton tires from my local small tire shop. I dont rotate or balance them after I put them on and I ussually get 125k from them. Sometimes the front last less-100k. I pay $90 a piece and dont use any other tires. I use the highway tire
