Posted this on DTR didnt quite get enough information thought I'd try here too.

The truck belongs to a friend is a 1990 W250 Cummins with Dana61/71 axles. It came from the factory with selectro hubs. He was 4wheeling last thursday hit a rock and ended up breaking the drivers side hub off down to where you can see the end of the axle stub shaft inside. He wanted me to ask if anyone knew where he could get a replacement, so far he's been unable to find a selectro replacement. He also wanted me to ask how hard it would be to swap to Warn premium hubs on both sides.

Thanks

Zach.

Does he have the selectros that are held on with the 3/8" bolts?

I have a set on my 75. I got mine new at a Dana Spicer Dealer. It was Sadler Power Train in Davenport IA. They were pretty pricey for the set. You have to get somebody to open an OLD book to find the parts.

To convert to the newer internal style lockout requires a differnt hub assembly,IE the part were the bearings are in, and what the lockout would slide into. Last time I priced them it was about $400 a side, just for the hub, not including the lockouts. I went to a salvage yard and got some for $200 a side, just for the hub. My brother converted from the external selectro lockouts to internal style on his off road truck. Went to 35 spline outer axels and then pucks, to do away with lockouts.

Hope this helps.

Michael
