Sell used Diesel Particulate Filter DPF

I may or may not have knowledge of a DPF that has only 60k miles on it from a 2010 2500. Is there a used market for these? If so, what would a fair asking price be?

Generally used parts are 50% of new parts costs. With all the thefts of these specific parts in some areas the buyer may be looking to arrest thieves. So when asking for a friend: ask if they want to explain how/why they may have one for sale?

If from your truck, may want to put in the corner. More and more jurisdictions are on the look out from deleted trucks. It's not a matter of when, but a matter of where. As stated above, that's what going price for most used parts in good shape. Would be weary with all the thefts that have been taking place. Where did it come from and then who's buying? Hope it works out.

Not sure on a pickup but many big trucks and equipment the dpf has a serial number that is programmed into the ecm.
