Can anyone tell me what kind of EGT rise I could expect to see going from the UFM to comp UFM. I just mailed my box to DD for the upgrade. Right now the max EGT I see is 1350.

Thanks Ken

I would venture to say in the least a 300 degree increase.

On a Drag Comp the fuel comes on alot earlier from what I can tell.

You might consider a turbo upgrade.

The UFM Drag upgrade lets the truck fuel up to 3100 rpms with out the ECM backing it off. That's it. Just fuels longer on level 5x5

, and you can feel it. I think with the stock turbo, I saw a 100* increse on top end. With the HX 40 I can only hit 1400* WOT on level 5x5.

No real temp difference, it'll just keep grunting after 2700.

Depends on when you lift!:D It will warm her up if you keep it there. I'm only at that RPM for very short periods of time.

Okay, maybe you'll peg the temp gauge, but it shouldn't be for long enough to worry.

I really wish I could make the box pull those uninhibited R's in levels 3 and 4. (for when I get caught with my fuel down).

I've gone 1400+ on 0-100mph test runs with the lil' ole 35 and stock injectors on 80* days. I'm doing injectors next and a big 40 after that. Test runs are important, cause you cain't look while racing.

I believe 5x5 on a drag comp or drag UFM is totally different than a reqular comp box. The fueling comes on earlier and stay there all the way up to 3100 RPMs. The worst thing about doing the

upgrade will be having to drive while you're waiting for yours to come back with a new chip.

The feuling does not come on sooner, it just keeps the box from defeuling until 3100 RPM. It really sucks driving without it. I left the boost elbow in so I drive it like an old lady and keep my eyes glued on the PSI. Ken
