Nice Ram for conversion............

454- cummins

I've taken some pictures of the sensors on my engine and was wondering if I could get some help identifying them.

The pics are on the bottem of the page, and I've labeled them as what I believe they are.

I don't have a pic of the sensor that was next to the vibration dampner, but I believe it's a tach sensor

Also I've removed the engine wiring harness and plan to discard it, along with the computer. My intention is to run the grid heater manualy, and only have power to the fuel solenoid. Is this possible?

Thanks

Crank position is really the oil pressure sender

Manifold pressure is really the Inatake Air Temp (AIT) sensor that is used to activate the grid heater.

Pretty sure water temp is correct on this on.

Red is Water In Fuel (WIF)

Blue is Fuel Heater.

Beings no computer runs this engine... none are required to engine operation. The AIT, Grids, and Fuel heater help in cold climates.
